Lauren Van Dyk was added to the board of Downingtown Main Street Association. Van Dyk works with the Montgomery County Planning Commission and works with several municipalities. Van Dyk graduated from Downingtown West and currently lives in the borough.

“Lauren’s understanding of local ordinances and mindfulness of environmental impacts associated with community growth will be a valuable asset to our work in Downingtown,” said Becca Settle, chairwoman of the Downingtown Main Street Association, “Our success as an organization can in part be attributed to the diversity of experience and expertise our members offer.”

Van Dyk is a Downingtown West graduate and borough resident. She has been involved with planning and land use issues in Chester County during the past decade. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring area trails and other outdoor recreation opportunities.
